According to European standards, playground equipment must be anchored. However, anchoring of this specific piece of equipment is not always necessary on a supervised school playground if the obstacle combinationcontains at least 3 connected obstacles that are connected at 45°with accompanying intermediate plates and end plates. Combinations with only one or two obstacles can be used, but they must be anchored with the included stainless steel nail plugs in the accompanying intermediate and end plates.
