Last week, the center of Torhout received a temporary, warm appearance thanks to the installation of our modular benches with integrated corten steel planters.
In collaboration with our partnerPlacoraIdemax was allowed to temporarily rent these stylish elements to the city of Torhout. The result? A pleasant meeting place where visitors can take a break, enjoy the surroundings, and experience the public space in a different way.
Temporary setup with lasting impact
Public spaces today are more than ever places where people come together, relax, and meet each other. With this temporary setup, we show how flexible furnishing elements can quickly add extra atmosphere and comfort to a city center — without major infrastructure works.
The combination of sustainable materials, soft natural tones, and the characterful corten steel creates a modern yet warm appearance that perfectly fits both historical and contemporary environments.
Sustainable, low-maintenance, and flexibly deployable
As with all our products, sustainability and ease of use were central here as well. The benches are made from high-quality, low-maintenance, and recycled plastic and are designed for intensive use in public spaces.
Thanks to their modular nature, the elements can also be easily placed temporarily, moved, or adapted for events, seasonal activities, or temporary city projects.
